Enter the Dream

Welcome to Dream Groups

In dreams we can become our truest selves, come into authenticity, become lighter, come into dialogue with our different parts and heal our darling inner child.

“Ixkik slept deeply that night.  In a dream she saw the inside of her womb.” - Popol Vuh

Working with our dreams gives us a foothold in our unconscious. We can make contact with the fountain of creativity inside us, call on our inner protectors, express our animal selves and release unconscious emotions.

  • I’m safe here

Dream messages from our unconscious like:

  • I feel anxiety about this transition or situation

  • My psyche needs repair
  • I give my power away to others
  • I am healing

This is Coyolxauqui the dismembered goddess of the moon. She was torn into parts by her family when she tried to save her mother from Huitzilopotchli the god of war.

Coyolxauqui can represent a symbol of our manager self or soul self trying to pull the different parts of ourselves together.

Our delightful inner child, once hurt, can feel the most pain because they are the most vulnerable. Our unhealed trauma can overwhelm us and make us feel like severed parts. Managing our busy lives in this state can feel like constant overwhelm.

Healing our own unconscious is part of our human journey. Working with our dreams individually and in community is an easy and accessible way to heal our deepest emotions.

The Gestalt experience of healing within a collective in safety and creativity makes the healing quick and light.

BREATHWORK and meditation are essential to making contact with our unconscious. You will deepen your practice.

Our deepest emotions began a long time ago. Our deepest fears, desires, and even our anger, began in childhood.

We dream and our inner child comes alive.

We are young and fresh. Our inner child can help us tap into that beloved, sweet part of ourselves who wants us to play, love and laugh. They help us remember not to worry. We are connected to the spark of life.

Our dreams show us our unconscious wounds and needs. We can bring attention and care to our inner selves during dreamwork. We can attune to the needs of our smaller selves.

Chicomecoatl can help us nurture the healing power of play and not be afraid of our uncomfortable emotions. We are confronted by our inner truth: we are as resilient as children.

Dream groups help us build community. Within ourselves–as a community of severed parts.

Externally, as a person with integrity who respects themselves and others.

How you feel is okay.

Dreaming and Breathing

The Art of Dreaming and Inner Change

Dreaming is the way we work out our feelings, our fears and goals, and the way we learn how to be more aligned with our deepest truths

BREATHWORK and meditation help us cultivate a state of peace in our waking and dreaming lives.

The peace and calm we feel in meditation in our conscious life dictates to our unconscious that no matter the obstacles, change, grief or anger we are experiencing in our waking lives, we will find peace.

Meditation and BREATHWORK are actions of self-love. And finding peace regardless of what’s going on in our lives indicates to our unconscious that peace is the overarching state of being for ourselves.

Love, and specificially this kind of self-love, is the major super power in the world of dreaming. In ancient Mexican Dreamwork breathing, meditation and love are practical tools we use everyday to improve our unconscious dream lives. In the Tao, the Vedas, Sankya Yoga, Tibetan Budhism, the various martial arts and diverse shamanic traditions across the globe people use breathing and meditation as a tool for self-improvement.

Have you wanted to change repetitive patterns or habits?

Have you ever had the feeling of being awake in your dreams?

This is an easy way of beginning to remember our dreams.

We have a lot of information, memories and desires running around in our minds.  We can even get important knowledge from our dream life.

The Art of Loving Ourselves

Taking time to find calm, peace and love within ourselves is an art form. It requires the discipline of an artist, the heart of a lion, and the generosity of Santa Claus.

The therapeutic aspect of this practice is recognizing our destructive patterns, our inner petty tyrants and critics, and our protective inner guides. In the ancient Mexican path of dreaming we release our addiction to suffering and embrace the beauty of our essential self.

Meditation calms the mind, and breathwork heightens our sensory perception.  Loving all our parts is our super power. We don’t have to wait for another to love our fragile psyche, we can love ourselves now—and heal.

In our unconscious we can heal ancestral patterns, plant dreams for our future and willfully bring balance back to our lives.

Being Able to See Yourself

Going inward and facilitating change takes intention from the deepest parts of ourselves. Dreaming helps restructure our habits and beliefs from the inside out.

The breathing and meditation exercises are just like physical exercise, they are repetitive and practical.

This is Chalchitlique the goddess of rivers, lakes, oceans and importantly, the goddess of fresh water or agua dulce. She is also known as she of the jade skirt. Working with her to help recover and heal memories of the inner child can be very sweet, like agua dulce or sweet water.

Chalchitlique can nurture our inner child whose whimsical and fresh attitudes may have been suppressed in the past. She can wash away our tears and remind us there’s a safe emotional space, which she rules, where our inner child can cry, play, laugh and dance.

Fear, guilt, shame, overwhelm and despair are original wounds needing to come up to be held, seen, healed and welcomed home.
